Love Finds You in Golden, New Mexico is a wonderful book that takes place in 1890. Madeleine Mercer answers an ad for a mail order bride when her father dies suddenly and his business partner threatens he is going to marry her whether she wants to or not. Phillip Smith placed the ad for a mail order bride presumably to have someone to take care of him in his old age and illness. When Madeleine arrives there are many questions about her past. But she wins over Phillip instantly and gradually wins over his good friend, Jeremiah. The secrets of her past try to overshadow her new life in Golden.
